How does the MYDAS menu work?
The singe modules in MYDAS are selectable with the menu. The main menu is there to group modules by their usage. In the sub menu the single modules are grouped again by their functionality to provide an ergonomic navigation throughout the system. All menu selections are ruled by user rights.
The main menu

In the home menu the selected favorite modules are displayed as well as the most recent used modules (the line up is depending on the frequency of their usage).

Booking
All module which are relevant for the media booking are grouped under this main menu.

Master Data
In this main menu all frequently used Master Data records are placed.

Interfaces
All interface modules for imports and exports are selectable in this main module.

Reports
Hier sind alle Reports und Reportgeneratoren in einem Menüpunkt gebündelt.

CRM
Main Menu for all contact and contract relevant modules. If this menu is displayed depends on the MYDAS Version (Basic, Advanced, Enterprise) which is in use.

Invoice
All modules for invoicing.

MEPRYS
The intergrated pricing tool of MYDAS with all master data for this tool. If this menu is displayed depends on the MYDAS Version (Basic, Advanced, Enterprise) which is in use.

Break Builder
All Modules of the Break Builder are grouped here. If this menu is displayed depends on the MYDAS Version (Basic, Advanced, Enterprise) which is in use.
The administration and user menu
In this main menu area all Modules for User Session views and Log out, and depending on the rights, for Admin usage and General Settings are grouped

General Settings
All general settings and master data are grouped in this menu. These records usually are only defined once.

ADMIN
Menu for all administrative modules.

Help Manuals are selectable in this menu.

Modules that depend on the user session are selectable here.

Depending on the user function "Admin" this menu is displayed. The rights assignation tool is activated by clicking on it.

The sub-menu

An active main menu selection is displayed with an orange underscore (1).
Within the sub-menus ( 2 ) there are groups and direct access to the modules . The groupings are displayed written white , the modules are written slightly darker. The groupings can be opened or closed by clicking on the arrow icon in the view .
A click with the left mouse button on a module opens it in the workspace.
How to search menu items?

The menu has an integrated search for menu items ( 1 ) . Here all menu items can be searched when the term entered is either included in the menu title or in a tooltip of a menu item.
To delete the search either click on a main menu item or start a new search.
Enlargement of the workspace

With the marked arrow icon above, the sub-menu items can be hidden and thus the workspace to be enlarged.
The view appears as marked then. To show the sub-menu items temporarily you´ll have to move with the mouse over the gray bar . The sub-menu is then shown again as long as you remain with the mouse .
In shielded condition you can change the sub-menus of each main-menu as well.
