Persons

Records of persons are the basis for users and contain personal information like contact data.  You can create and modify persons either in masterdata or CRM cockpit.

General data

  1. First name of the person
  2. Last name of the person
  3. Title - salutation
  4. Title - optional field for an academic title
  5. Abbreviation - optional field for a nickname or an alias
  6. Set the flag to activate the person. Please note: if you remove the flag, the connected users will also be deactivated!
  7. Optionally you can tag the person as VIP.
  8. Company - if the person is an employee of a client, you can select the company in this field.
  9. Category - optional selection of the person's department within the company
  10. Position - optional field for the person's position within its department.

Settings

  1. Letter/Title - letter opening
  2. Letter/Salutation - complimentary close
  3. Internal ID - optional field for the internal staff number
  4. External ID - optional field for an external staff number which will be displayed on correspondence.
  5. Branch office - optional selection of a sub-office of the pserson's company
  6. Proxy  - optional selection of a person who fills in for the current person
  7. Decision maker/budget - selection of the budget the person is allowed to handle. Please note: if AllowedModule "CRM:Name darf nicht leer sein. Entscheider als Pflichtfeld." is activated, a budget must be selected if you modify the person in the CRM cockpit.
  8. Contact - contact data like phone numbers and e-mail addresses can be created and selected in this grid.
  9. Mailinglists-identifier - if a static mailinglist is converted into a dynamic mailinglist, its identifier is saved to this field. Please note: after the conversion of the mailinglist will be removed from the grid below!
  10. Mailinglist/Validity - selection of mailinglists to which the person is connected statically.
  11. Address - optional selection of an address which can be tagged as personal address.

The data in this tab are optional.

User

A new user record is created via special action.

History

In the history tab all modifications of the record are logged.
