Clashes (=Menu Exclusion)

Clashes for Products can be defined with three shapings.

a) clashes against other products

b) clashes against another customer

c) clashes customer against product class

Clash against other products

  1. The Type defines the shaping of the clash. It will be selected before saving the clash record. In this case it is a clash on Product level, which means that only the products in this clash are conflicting with each other.
  2. Number indicates how many products can be entered into on break before the clash is applied.
  3. so 2 in Number would allow to have 2 various products in on break before the clash is applied.
  4. BookingLock means if the Tick is set this is a hard lock. If there is already one product of the clash is in one break, no one will be allowed to book a second one into that break
  5. Products involved in this clash. Can be one or many.

Result - A Product cannot be booked into a break where the other product or products are already booked.

Clash against another client

The settings like Number, Booking Lock or various products stay the same.

  1. The Adveriser level can be selected once creating the clash.
  2. In this case a user can select the advertisers involved in the clash instead of the products

Result - An Advertiser cannot be booked into a break where the other advertiser is already booked.

Clash Advertiser against product family

  1. Productfamily level can be selected before saving the record
  2. A specific Product family can be selected
  3. A Advertiser can be selected.

Result will be the Advertisers campaign cannot book into breaks where already existing products linked this product family are booked.
