Grid Import with Excelfile

File description

File format is .xslx and should have the file name starting with the Channel Identifier in MYDAS e.g.  STARMoHD_Import.xslx

  1. Period to be imported (Mandatory)
  2. Channel Identifier in MYDAS (Mandatory)
  3. Channel Name in MYDAS (Mandatory)
  4. Timezone of the channel (Mandatory)
  5. ID for the Program element of the slot. Advisabel if it is the same for the same Program Name all the time. (Mandatory)
  6. Title of the Program element (Mandatory)
  7. Starttime of the Program (=Slot Start time) (Mandatory)
  8. Genre Information (Optional)
  9. Program category (Optional)
  10. Always SAT (Mandatory)
  11. Number of interrutions in the program slot (Mandatory)
  12. Break in front of the program. Y for Yes, N for No. (Mandatory)
  13. Break after the program (=Endbreak)  Y for Yes, N for No. (Mandatory)
  14. Total seconds of advertisement in the program slot. This will define the duration of each break (total duration/number of interruptions)
  15. Program Slot duration. It is adviseable to not have overlappings to the following program slot (e.g. starttime of the slot + duration should be less than the starttime of the following slot) due to the risk of a strange display of breaks in the booking modules
  1. = 15 from above
  2. Price Group (= mulitplier for the base rate calculation e.g. 4 for fringe time and 5 for prime time)
  3. Here the template name needs to be entered which needs to be applied. On the Singapore MYDSA installation this is "Starhub".
  4. Definiton on which weekday the program is to be scheduled.

Conditions for the import of the excel grid file

Advertiment Template must be available. This advertisment template defines how the .xslx Importfile is interpreted.

In case of COB, for PRE and POST breaks, it should have a default timing. The 02 fields should have a duration as it is shown in the picture bellow and the dynamic length flag has to be unchecked.
