Create a new channel
Go to Masterdata and look on the left side for Media. Open it and click on Media. This opens the summary of all channel records there are, no matter if a channel already exists or not.
Click on the New-button on the top right side to create a new record. If channel records already exists it is recommended to access one and use the action button Copy on the bottom as it is easier to adjust details for a new channel instead of creating a new one.
With the copy button all necessary setting inherited in the media are copied to the new channel.
If you chose to copy an existing channel then procede as displayed below.
Fields that are required to be changed
Fields that could be changed if needed are...
- Leadtimes in folder "Settings" (only required for external users who eventually will have access to book)
- Language in folder "Settings" if it is a language specific Channels (This is a iteration 2 delivery already)
Channel Language
Rules are:
- A channel with a language can only have materials booked with the same language.
- A channel with no language can have materials with any language or materials with no language.
Ratecard-Definition
Make sure that ratecards (listprices) are available for the period to be imported by the schedule import as described in chapter Ratecards.
