Store media plan groups as templates
In this section you will learn how to store media plan group templates for individual customers or groups in MYOC.
General
MYOC offers you the option of storing media plan groups as standard templates for a client or a group. These media plan groups are displayed automatically when a new campaign is created and can be modified or enhanced by the planner if necessary.
MYOC always draws the more detailed specification. This means that if a media plan group is stored for a client, this is always displayed. If no media plan group has been stored for the client but has been stored for the group, the media plan group is displayed by the group.
Both elements are located in the mask "Clients" and are only differentiated by their type.
Important: If you make a change to the template for the media plan groups for a client or group, this is only transferred to newly created campaigns. The old media plan groups remain in old campaigns, even if new variants and/or versions are created.
Create media group templates
To open the mask "Clients", search for "Clients" via the search element in the left navigation bar.

Tip: You can fix the mask in your home menu using the pin at the upper right edge, so that you don't have to search for it when you call it up again, but it will be displayed in the home menu by default.
In the displayed mask you can see all agency groups, agencies, groups and clients which you have the authorization for. By means of the type, you can see which element is involved.
HAGT = agency group
AGT = agency
KONZ = group
WT = client
Using the search window, you can search for the desired entry for which ad server costs are to be stored.
Important: Please always pay attention to the corresponding type of the element.

Double-click on the line to open the mask for the desired element.
First switch to the "MPL Groups" tab. Then click on "Create media plan group" in the lower menu bar.
Important: Do not click on the "New" button. No media plan groups can be created via this button!
In the pop-up window that opens, you can now define a name for the media plan group that will later be automatically available to the planner.
Afterwards save the entry using the orange "Save" button at the bottom right and close the window.
Note: The entry in the overview page only becomes visible after switching between 2 tabs!
You now have the option of creating further media plan groups in the same way.
In addition to the main group, you can also create subgroups at a maximum of one level below the main group. To do that, after saving the main group, a button appears at the bottom left of the screen.

First click on it. A new empty mask opens, in which you can assign a name again. You can see that you are creating a subgroup if the parentGroupId field is filled.

After saving the subgroup it appears in the tab SubMediaPlanGroups within the main group and also in the overview page.
If you have created several media plan groups by default, you have the option of determining the order in which the media plan groups are to be displayed later in the overview page. To do this, simply drag the individual lines via Drag&Drop in the correct order.
Editing Entries
If you want to edit an entry, open the entry by double-clicking on the corresponding table line. You can now make the changes you want in the entry itself. Then save the changed entry by clicking the "Save" button at the bottom right.
Deleting Entries
If an entry has been made incorrectly, it is possible to delete it.
To do this, open the entry by double-clicking on the table line. In the entry itself, open the context menu by clicking on the right button of your mouse. Then select "Delete record". You will then receive a confirmation of the deletion process.
