Product types
The system provides the possibility of defining various product types on different levels and putting them in relation to each other.
Branches
If a color code in hex-format is entered in the branch (which is the highest level of product types), the products allocated to a product family of the branch will be displayed in exactly this color in detailed planning.
Product groups
To create a hierarchy of product types, you need to select a master type which has a higher level than the level of the current record.
Product families
To create a hierarchy of product types, you need to select a master type which has a higher level than the level of the current record.

Allocation to product family
The product is allocated to a product family in the product record. Product group and branch are automatically allocated aswell if the hierarchy is set up correctly.
Effects on detailed planning
Once a spot is booked on the product, the product is displayed in the color which is stored in the branch of the product family.
