Target appointments

Target appointments are yet unscheduled appointments. They are planned for a month but not yet scheduled on a particular date. The system provides various possibilities of creating such appointments which will be detailed in this manual.

Creation of target appointments in masterdata view

  1. Title - name of the appointment. If you leave the field empty, the system will fill in a name on first save using the pattern <name of client> <month> <year>.
  2. Customer/ agency - selection of the client the appointment will be connected to.
  3. Month - target appointments aren't scheduled on a particular date but only planned for a month.
  4. Year - the current year is pre-selected by default.
  5. Status - selection of the status of the appointment.
  6. Follow up - the date of the current day is pre-selected on creating a new record. The creator and the responsible person receive a reminder in MYDAS after X days. This might be useful if there's some extra work to do for the appointment.
  7. Agenda - the agenda of the appointment can be added optionally.
  8. Responsible - the current user is pre-selected as creator of the appointment but you can select a different user and thereby assign the appointment to him.
  9. Sales area - mandatory selection of a sales area.  

After saving the record for the first time the following elements are displayed additionally:

  1. Participant - selection of the responsible person as participant at the appointment.
  2. Copies the record.
  3. Postpones the appointment to a different month.
  4. Schedules the target appointment and thereby converts it into an actual appointment.

Creation of target appointments in contact management

Target appointments can also be created in the CRM-Cockpit in contact management. To do this you need to select a person from the client tree, open the context menu via rightclicking the input form and select the option "New target-appt" from the context menu.

Creation of target appointments via appointment schedule

Open an appointment in the appointment schedule and click on the respective special action to create a new target appointment with the data of the original appointment.

Please note: in this view a check on the connection to a sales area in the user record of the responsible person is run on creating a target appointment. Therefore the responsible person must own a user record which is connected to a sales area to successfully create a new target appointment.

Creation of target appointments via client masterdata

In client masterdata you can create target appointments via special action. The client will be pre-selected in the target appointment by default.

Scheduling of target appointments

Target appointments can be scheduled as follows:

  • open the appointment view of the client tree
  • select the favored appointment which will be highlighted blue
  • rightclick on the date and time in the calendar where you'd like to insert the appointment
  • select the appointment in the context menu
