Placement capping
The placement functionality offers the possibility to add capping as required. Specifically for placements with media kinds with the type Linear. The capping function can be used to spread spots during a specific criterion (for example, 03 spots per hour, 10 spots per day etc.).

There are different types of capping which can be set up.

When booking the spots of the placement (assuming no relevant inventory restrictions), MYDAS will book the spots applying the previously set up capping in this case, every clock hour there will be no more than only 1 spot booked.
These spots will be booked and then can be tracked in all other booking functions in MYDAS, including the Grid Optimizer
Comment: in the above example we have the following result:
1x spot between 6am-7am clock hour
1x spot between 7am-8am clock hour
1x spot between 8am-9am, clock hour, etc.
