Campaigns
Campaigns should be generally edited with the Campaign Wizard and monitored with the Campaign View.
This chapter handles the campaign master data records. The master data of the campaign, such as name, time, advertiser, agency, budget and calculation parameters is basically the frame for the bundles and placements of the campaign.
The campaigns master data records are situated in the Master Data menu sub-menu 360 (degree) Campaigns.
TAB General
- Name - Stands for the title of the campaign.
- Comment - Space for comments to the campaign.
- Use From - Start date of the Campaign. All depending records like bundles and placements have to be within the date range from/to.
- Use to - End date of the Campaign.
- Budget - Total Budget of the campaign. This value is just for informational purposes. At the end the placements will be invoiced!
- Status - Status of the campaigns like creation, running, on hold ...
Tab Client
- Client - Advertiser which is placing his advertisement with the campaign.
- Agency - Agency which manages the campaign (could be the advertiser as well).
- Id_extern - External Campaign ID of the Agency or Advertiser
- Order - one or more orders can be linked to the campaign. Depending on these orders the sub-orders in the placement can be selected. The orders selection is limited to orders where the advertiser is linked.
Tab Bundles
The tab Bundles shows all Bundles which are linked to the campaign.
It is also possible to create a new bundle within the campaign record with the special action "Create Bundle". The new bundle is displayed immediately in the table.
Tab Settings
- Budget base - Base for which key figure is used for the total budget of the campaign (e.g. Gross, Net1, Net2, Net3)
- Pricing - In this drop down list can be selected if a campaign budget is fixed, by bundle or by placement. If by bundle or by placement is selected the total budget that is entered in the campaign is only a referential value.
- Currency - Currency of the campaign
- Referencing validity to time zone - If not selected the campaign is running in the time zone of the server. Once selected the campaign is running in the selected time zone below.
- Time zone - Time zone in which the campaign is running.
- Generated automatically - for future use if campaigns are imported into the system (not existing yet).
Special actions in the campaign master data record
- Create Bundle - creates a new bundle that is linked to the campaign
- Create Report - generates a campaign report
