Mailinglist-masterdata

General data

  1. Name of the mailinglist
  2. Level - selection of the level (e.g. department, position in the company) on which the mailinglist works.
  3. Identifier of the mailinglist
  4. Type - selection of the type of the mailinglist. Types can be defined in CRM control values.
  5. Valid from/ to - validity of the mailinglist
  6. Draft on (date) -
  7. Description - optional textfield for a description or comments.
  8. Dyn. person search - queries for dynamic allocations of persons can be selected in this field. You usually create queries in the mailinglist-tool since this module provides a GUI for building queries.
  9. Number of persons that are statically allocated to the mailinglist.
  10. Number of exclusions - number of persons that are statically excluded from the mailinglist.
  11. Number of mailinglists the current mailinglist is connected to.
  12. Number of persons NA - number of persons that are inactive
  13. Derived from - selection of a segment that will be connected to the mailinglist.

Special Actions

  1. Copies the record including the allocated persons. Dynamic allocations in the source record are converted into static ones in the target record.
  2. Exports a list of the allocated persons to an Excel-file.
  3. Exports a list of the allocated persons to a CSV-file.
  4. E-mail addresses to clipboard - opens a pop up from which the displayed e-mail addresses can be copied to the clipboard
  5. E-mail - provides the possibility of sending an e-mail to the entire mailinglist
  6. Adds the attributes of the mailinglist to the persons' masterdata records.
  7. Creates a static version of the mailinglist.
  8. Removes all static allocations.

Persons (static)

  1. You can add persons statically to the mailinglist via magnifying glass.
  2. New persons are created via + button which forwards to a new empty person's record. Please check out the manual on persons for further information.
  3. Static allocations can be removed by clicking on the X. Please note: the person will only be removed from the grid ultimately if you save the mailinglist after clicking on the X.
  4. Optionally you can enter a comment on each allocated person.
  5. The validity of the allocated persons is automatically set to the validity of the mailinglist. You can disable a person for the mailinglist without removing it from the grid by setting its validity to an outdated period.

Exclusion (static)

Persons that are statically excluded aren't considered for mailing anymore.

Sub-distribution

Mailinglists can be linked to other mailinglists in order to combine the filter criteria.
