Segments

Segments group clients with the same or similar characteristics regarding their purchasing behavior.

  1. Name of the segment.
  2. Identifier of the segment.
  3. Optional textfield for comments and descriptions.
  4. Type - mandatory selection of the segment-type.
  5. Owner - name of the user that created the segment. If the record is private, only the user selected in this field is allowed to modify the record.
  6. Dyn. client search - selection of a query to autmatically allocate specific clients to the segment. Please check out the manual on advanced search for further information.
  7. Client/ Validity - manual allocation of clients to the segment. You can control the validity of each client's allocation through the From- and To-fields in the grid. If you don't enter anything, both fields will be filled with the segment's validity.
  8. Subsegments - optional selection of another segment, that will be connected to the current one.
  9. Customer/ Exclusion - manual selection of clients that will be excluded from the segment.
  10. Draft on - ???
  11. Valid from/ to - validity of the segment.
  12. Global - if the flag is set, all users with the respective rights are allowed to modify the record.
  13. Derived from - select the segment that is the template of the current segment.
  14. Autom. Reorg -
  15. Notification on change -
  16. Copies the record.
  17. Creates a static version of dynamic segments.
  18. Creates a mailinglist.
  19. Removes all static allocations from the segment.
