Day-Scheduling
Day-Scheduling gives the user the possibilities to book, rebook and cancel spots. Breaks that have been modified after schedule imports are tagged with warning signs.
Filter area
- Media - selection of the channel
- Order/ Suborder/ Package - selection of order/ suborder/ package (if available for the selected suborder)
- Product/ Material - selection of product and material
- Length - the spot length can only be entered as long as no material has been selected
- Price - enter a price if you want to book a spot with a fixed price
- CR-Day - selection of the day that is about to be displayed from the calendar or by entering the date manually. By clicking on the bold link you can switch between CR-Day view and Broadcast-Day view.
- Apply - the selected filters are applied
- Display - program parts and breaks of the selected day are displayed
- Opens resp. closes all breaks. In opened breaks the booked spots are displayed and can be modified.
- Via Export-button you create a playlist for the selected day
- Via CSV-Button you create a broadcasting schedule in .csv-format
- Opens the clipboard
- This field contains the number of selected breaks
- not in use
- Removes all warning triangles
- Hides all warning triangles
- Hides all warning triangles from the selected day on until the end of the year
- Removes all warning tags from the breaks and removes all deleted breaks from the system
- Booking - a spot is booked on the selected break(s) with the selected order data
Display day
- Start time of break resp. program part
- By clicking on the folder the record of break/ program part is opened in a new window
- Identifier of the break resp. program name. The bold identifiers indicate that there are already bookings on the breaks.
- Ratecard price for a basic length which can be entered in the length-field in the filter area.
- Break type resp. type of program
- Planned length of the break
- Available length of the break. Green --> enough availtime for the selected length. Red --> no or not enough availtime for the selected length.
- Set the flag to select a break for booking.
Bookings on breaks
By clicking on the bold break identifier the break is opened and its spots are displayed.

Spots can be moved to different breaks via drag and drop on one of the mentioned icons. - Order number, order type, advertiser, agency and suborder number
- Product name
- Material name
- Length of the spot
- Spot price
- Spot positions in the break. The positions and order of the spots can be adjusted in Detailed Planning.
- A click on the folder icon opens the spot for modification and by clicking the X you delete the spot.
Rebook break
You can rebook entire breaks via drag and drop (described in Detailed planning ) or with the rebooking function of Day-Scheduling.
Spot-History
The spot history is opend via click on "+". It contains basic information of the spot like its ID and all modifications of the spot. In the example of in the screenshot the spot was invoiced and afterwards moved to a different break. Both transaction and the initial booking are logged in the spot history.
Clipboard
Attention: the clipboard functionality depends on ModulAllowed "Zwischenspeicher Funktion Cockpit".
Click on ZS to move the spot from the break into the clipboard. Please note: the spot will only be visible in the clipboard after this transaction until it is rebooked on a break!
You can open the clipboard by clicking on the button right to the CSV-button.
Drag and drop the spot via green arrow on the target break and confirm the message box with OK to start the transaction. The clipboard view is refreshed automatically after the spot was rebooked successfully.
Rebooking assistance
The rebooking assistance helps you find a matching target break. You can set various restrictions to narrow the search down on the perfect break for the spot. By selecting the checkboxes you enable the field as filter which means that only breaks matching the content of the field will be displayed in the result list.
To rebook the break you only need to click on the floppy icon in the favoured break.
Please note: it is only possible to rebook the spot on the very same day. Moving the spot to a break on a different day is not allowed, which is why the checkboxes of those fields are disabled in the search.
Modify spots
You open the editing mode for the spot by clicking on the folder icon. The following data can be modified:
- selection of a product or reset to no product. Please note that the material selection will be reset anyway after product selection.
- selection of a material. Attention: you need to save the spot after product selection before you can assign a material!
- length modifications are only possible as long as there isn't a material selected.
- if you enter a price in this field, the spot is rebooked on a fixed price. This means that the price is not adjusted to the regular ratecard price due to rebooking or length changes.
- Breaks and spot positions are usually optimized in Detailed Planning, but can be modified manually in Day-Scheduling aswell.
- You can cancel editing by clicking on the X icon and save the changes by clicking on the floppy icon. The editing mode is terminated by clicking on the X again.
