Result table
First of all some information on the various colours of breaks and codings:
- grey break codings indicate that there are spots booked on the break
- blue break codings indicate that there aren't any spots booked yet
- the colours of rows don't have particular meanings, it's just for highlighting certain break categories in their indiviual colours. The colours can be entered and modified in break category masterdata.
- green columns indicate that the breaks still have availtime
- red columns indicate that the breaks are overbooked
The result table contains default columns and optional columns that can be hidden/ displayed via Settings-button. Depending on system settings specific columns might (not) be editable.
Layout of the result table:
- StartTime - planned start time of the break
- ID - break coding
- Program before/after - names of the program parts that are broadcasted directly previous to the break and immediatly after.
- ListPrice/Basis - ratecard price per basic length for bookings on the break
- OM - ideal minute; will be imported with broadcast schedule import. The ideal minute "delays" the start of an hour for planning advertising based on the active commercial rule on an entire broadcast day. If ideal minute = 20, the commercial rule is now applied from hh:20 to hh1:20 (e.g. 10:20 to 11:20). That means if commercial allowed/ hour = 720, it is allowed to plan 720 sec. for advertisment in hours between hh:20 and hh1:20.
- HMPlan - totals of max. planned lengths of all breaks that start within the same hour (cross media)
- HPlan - totals of planned lengths of all breaks that start within the same hour (cross media)
- HAvailable - totals of available lengths of all breaks that start within the same hour (cross media)
- MPlan - maximum planned length of the individual break. It is allowed to overbook the break up to this value.
- Plan - planned regular length of the individual break
- StdR - hour rule
- Open - availtime of the individual break
- Select - select breaks for mass modification
The hours of a day are separated by bold lines and the days are separated by total lines.
Modification of breaks
The break editor provides possibilities to modify the characteristics of breaks aswell as the spots that are booked on them.
Modification of planned lengths
The editing mode is started resp. quit by clicking on the grey headlines.
Mass modification of planned lengths
To modify the planned lengths of several breaks at one go, you need to enter the new values in fields "MaxPlan" and "PlannedLength". Next you select the breaks you'd like to apply the new values to and click on "Change all".
Please note: locked breaks cannot be modified!
ID-modification
The modification of IDs works analogous to the modification of planned lengths. IDs of locked breaks cannot be modified.
Please note: ID-modification is very likely to have effects on the ratecard price of the break!
Modification of bookings on breaks via break monitor

In the break monitor the spots that are booked on the break are displayed. Analogous to Detailed planning and Day-Scheduling the user has the possibility to modify, cancel and rebook spots.
