Find the Ad-Banner module via GeneralSettings > General Ctrl. Values or via the search function. The Ad-Banner table will be displayed.

Use 'New'-button and an empty Ad-Banner data record will be displayed.

Fill the data record by entering 'Name', 'ValidityID' (mandatory), 'Priority', and 'PositionID' (mandatory). Saving without 'ValidityID' or 'PositionID' leads to an error message.

More info on 'Priority': Prioritization can be set for advertising banners. If there are several advertising banners to choose from in a certain validity, the one with the lowest priority (negative numbers are also possible; the default is 99) is displayed at the corresponding position.

Adding 'Link to' is optional. The link to which the banner should refer can be entered here.

After saving the data record, the Ad-Banner image can be uploaded after a click on the special action with the image symbol.

A pop-up opens in which the image after selection can be uploaded with a click on the blue arrow. Not only .jpg files can be uploaded. It is also possible to upload, for example, animated .gif files. However, the size of the uploaded file should not exceed 100 x 800 pixels.

After the upload, the image is displayed in the pop-up and the file name is visible.

The image will be displayed at the defined position. Clicking on the image will redirect to the correct website.
