Price setting of material end titles

Material end titles can be selected / created and saved directly in / via a material master data record.

In the material end title data record among others its length and validity period can be determined. A new 'PriceModel-ID' can be created or an existing one that has been selected can be opened with a click on the folder symbol.

In the first place, the 'PriceModel-ID' only defines whether rounding is applied and whether a different model should be applied for tandem spots. With double click on a value in the field 'Indices' (in the example 'OTC Credits'), its data record can be opened.

  • Index: How much % of the price will be charged (0 % if the credits are not charged);
  • Format setting from / to: Which second range is possible;
  • Const: A constant seconds value can be entered here. If you enter for instance '20', 20 seconds are always calculated no matter how many seconds are actually booked;
  • Factor: Extra discounts can be applied here.

Since you already in the material end title data record define its length, you basically only need to create a price index and a price model for all free material end credits.

Since the index is set up from 1-1.000, this then applies to all material end titles between 1-1.000 that are linked to the index or price model.

Example: a 4 second material end credit that is calculated at 50%, is created as follows:

  • Index: 50%;
  • Format setting from / to: 1 - 1.000;
  • Factor: 1;
  • Constant: 0.00.
