Status of Day

Depending on the status of the broadcast day you can enable the day for specific transactions and functionalities. This way it is possible to create a strict process for manually tagging breaks as broadcasted.

The 'Status of Day' module controls the status of the broadcast days across all media. For each day status, follow-up statuses can be defined and possible actions within it can be activated or deactivated.

In the data record of a day status, the field 'NextStates' can be used to define which status follows next. The identifier of the selected follow-up status must be entered here. Example: a broadcast day is marked with the 'NextStates' 'P' and 'L'. Thus the two potential statuses that follow an open day are 'Prelog' and 'Log'.

In each status, you can also define which actions are permitted when a broadcast day has the corresponding status. Example: for a day status can be determined if a playlist can be generated ('CanCreatePlaylist') and when the flag 'ReconciliationAllowed' is set, the user is allowed to tag breaks as telecasted.

Further explanation of functions:
'Bookingallowed': Bookings can be made on a broadcast day with this status.
'Closed': The broadcast day is marked as closed.
