To do this, click first on 'Help' and then on the 'Password' menu item.

The Change Password mask appears. The following steps must be carried out here:

1. Enter the old or initial* password;
2. Enter the new password** and confirm the password in the 'Retype password' field;
3. Confirm the changes with a click on the 'Execute' button.

* An initial password is always communicated to a new user.

** Users have to adhere to the password rules. They are enumerated under the 'Execute' button.

Colored bars appear next to the fields for the new password as soon as data are entered.

The bar next to the first field for the new password indicates whether has been adhered to the password rules. If the bar is red, the password does not comply with the rules completely and the entry must be changed. The individual rules to which the new password already corresponds are grayed out and marked with a green tick.

As soon as the new password has been adjusted so that it complies with the rules, the bar next to the field turns green and the 'Execute' button becomes active.

The bar next to the 'Retype password' field shows whether the two passwords are exactly the same. A green bar indicates that the two entries match.
